Dynamic Relationships

The Gathering of Wellbeing

Robin and Rob were invited to be on an organizing committee for this inaugural gathering with the theme of ‘The Art of Being Human’.     Six months in the planning of the event and a significant amount of time and preparation for Robin to lead six facilitations over the two days, including one all in session and co-creating the Opening and Closing Ceremony and the Heart Circle. Great feedback was received and some good suggestions for improvements will support the gathering to power on. Nine wonderful humans stepped up to hold the energy and facilitate the next Gathering, scheduled for 1st to 3rd of March 2024.

The Joining Gathering – A new Retreat Feel for September 2019

Both Robin and her partner Rob attended the annual Joining Gathering in September. Robin facilitated a powerful and transformative workshop entitled ‘Supporting Each Other to Shine’         and was able to contribute in a much lesser way than usual in the Ceremonies having mentored and guided other younger people to lead the Ceremonies, and lead they did so brilliantly. Both Robin and Rob were on the panel discussion about ‘Relationship’. A highlight of the event was Rob and Robin stepping up together in the Closing Ceremony to hold the energy of Staff and Basket holder for the next gathering. This means they care for the sacred objects that symbolize the Masculine and Feminine and together with a big circle of other wonderful people, organize the next ‘Joining’ for 2019 on the Spring Equinox weekend, held over 3 days. The venue and exact dates will be announced very soon for ‘The Joining …

Foundations of a Healthy Group Culture

A healthy, solid and nurturing foundation is important for any group to grow and achieve it’s vision and purpose. Beyond our groups, organisations, teams, businesses and workplaces, we  can also say the same thing for relationships of all kinds – with our partners, family members and most importantly, with ourselves. Imagining that we are a little seed with so much potential. Imaging our group or organisation as a seed looking to plant itself somewhere that will support it to grow tall and strong and produce great abundance. Where to start? With our needs – our personal needs and the needs of the group. This is foundational, like the sub soil beneath our feet. Add a rich layer of top soil to mix with and enrich the subsoil for essential grounding and solidity through exploring and naming values, principles and ethics that group members feel are important.  We now have the …

The Sacred Union Labyrinth at Woodford Folk Festival – Very Soon

It’s almost time for the 31st Woodford Folk Festival in SE Qld which takes place over the Christmas/New Year period. Robin and her team are busy harvesting bamboo, making giant sculptured petals, collecting resources, materials and objects from nature and generally preparing to create and construct ‘The Sacred Union Labyrinth’ for the fourth year running. The Labyrinth has become an integral and much loved destination at the festival where people can walk it anytime or attend one of the four Ceremonies which feature a five piece band and a six person Ceremony team. Directly after each Ceremony ‘Djuelu the Village Scribe’ (Rob Clark) will be present to write meaningful words on parchment to commemorate people’s Labyrinth walk. At other times ‘Tinkerbell’ will provide music to walk to and there will most likely be some Pop Up chiors. Come join the fun, delight and sacred adventure.   Times for the Ceremonies …

The Sacred Union Labyrinth at Woodford Folk Festival, Qld

Woodford Folk festival attracts 120,000 visitors over a six day period from 27th December to 1st January each year. For three years running Robin has coordinated and enjoyed immensely participating in creating ‘The Sacred Union Labyrinth’ as an art instillation and community ceremony space. It takes weeks of gathering materials, a full week to construct and one and a half days to return to nature at the end. Much maintenance is required to keep the space fresh and beautiful throughout the festival for literally thousands of people to walk. Four sacred ceremonies are held, where participants walk the Labyrinth to live music. The ceremonies are facilitated by Robin, Mark Healy, Christine Clegg, Stephane Cazard and Rob Clark. Robin is deeply honoured to share her design with the world in this expansive and supported way and acknowledges Mark for his spark of inspiration, Rob for his co-dreaming of the project and …
