Robin’s Dynamic Facilitation course assisted me as a primary and high school teacher to diversify my planning and delivery of educational programs, in a creative and innovative way. Her program encouraged my confidence and capacity to embrace, weave and implement a variety of learning modes and methods to enable the accessibility of content and the inclusivity of diverse learning styles. Hence, Robin’s program if fundamental for offering alternatives which support differentiation strategies. Robin’s inventive and imaginative learning platforms assist in igniting the classroom environment, enhancing the joy, engagement and love of learning in students. I am particularly fond of Robin’s play base learning methods that encourage critical thinking, creative responsiveness, positive communication, and builds student relationships through partner work and group activities. It’s time for Robin’s annual Creative Facilitation and Teacher Training course at her home community of Crystal Waters. Last year’s ‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ training saw three people turn around in transit to the course as the threat of COVID started to lock down the whole country. Robin with Donna, the fantastic cook for the course, had done all the shopping for the catering and the remaining nine people managed to arrive so a group of 12 people went into a bubble for the week, emerging to a world where even going shopping was a challenge. Everyone enjoyed the course very much and got heaps out of it in terms of skills, knowledge and confidence to take home… and they all got home safely. I am back in France, back in school as a primary teacher. I try to implement some facilitation techniques you taught during the course. Your wild cards inspire me when preparing my class.
