Practise, Practise, Practise is a key learning from a refresher in Kate Raffin’s NVC workshop that was offered recently at Crystal Waters.Robin and team highly recommend NVC to the world for peaceful communications, a compassionate world and shared empathy spaces to nurture our hearts and souls. What is NVC? Here’s a definition from Robin’s soon to be published ‘Dynamic Teaching and Facilitation’ Book. Nonviolent Communication: A life practice and set of principles and skills that enable compassionate communication, empathy, authenticity and connection. It helps people have ‘power with’ rather than ‘power over’ and to express their feelings, needs and deep truth with others, with themselves and in groups and organisations. See Kate’s Website here

After a two year break due to Covid, venue challenges and others influences the annual women’s gathering will return in late October. Robin and many other gifted facilitators will be presenting deep and engaging workshops, there is Ceremony, craft, fun and lots of opportunity to immerse in nature in the delightful Numinbah Valley in the Gold Coast hinterland. The food is always amazing and the company supportive and delightful. Here’s a link to the website.

Robin was honoured to be invited to speak at the Reconciliation Day at Crystal Waters last July.Thanks very much to Sabine, the Facilities Manager of the Crystal Waters Coop Facilities for gaining a grant to organise and host this event. The annual Being Woman… gathering is fast approaching with a juicy theme this year –  Nurturing Your True Nature…..Stepping into our Woman’s Way and the workshops will be centred around this theme. This year’s gathering again offers a wonderful range of facilitators and workshops for you to discover and explore the divine feminine source inside you in a way that enhances your self-awareness, relationships and life purpose. There will also be sacred ceremonies to open and close the gathering as well as entertainment on Saturday and Sunday nights. Be true and authentic to who you are and learn to keep your heart open as you celebrate, dance, weave, relax and enjoy the gathering. Robin’s workshop this year will be called – Pathway to Freedom. She’ll also be involved in the Ceremony team again with our Aunties and other wonderful wise women. Tickets are available here.
