New ‘Dynamic Teaching and Facilitation’ Book Update on Design

Robin’s excited to let you know that the momentum for the completion of the last Draft of the book is building. There’s still a little to do and it doesn’t feel like the best time to launch a book on face to face education and facilitating BUT she really wants to be ready when the time is right. The design concept for the layout is sorted and here’s an image of a trail of the Table of Contents. It uses the kind of style that is used in all Robin’s workshops – Hand drawn, handmade, slips of coloured card, a lot further from perfection than digital printing or computer fonts. It seems many people prefer this style to the slick lines and computer generated graphics. Your feedback is encouraged and would be really helpful. Thank you.Email Robin here for further info or to give feedback.

Testimonial from a ‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ Course Participant

Robin’s Dynamic Facilitation course assisted me as a primary and high school teacher to diversify my planning and delivery of educational programs, in a creative and innovative way. Her program encouraged my confidence and capacity to embrace, weave and implement a variety of learning modes and methods to enable the accessibility of content and the inclusivity of diverse learning styles. Hence, Robin’s program if fundamental for offering alternatives which support differentiation strategies. Robin’s inventive and imaginative learning platforms assist in igniting the classroom environment, enhancing the joy, engagement and love of learning in students. I am particularly fond of Robin’s play base learning methods that encourage critical thinking, creative responsiveness, positive communication, and builds student relationships through partner work and group activities. Fortunate to support students in a variety of subjects, it is evident Robin’s learning methodology is highly adaptable and compliments a variety of education methods and subject matters. …

NVC – Nonviolent Communication Highly Recommended

Practise, Practise, Practise is a key learning from a refresher in Kate Raffin’s NVC workshop that was offered recently at Crystal Waters.Robin and team highly recommend NVC to the world for peaceful communications, a compassionate world and shared empathy spaces to nurture our hearts and souls. What is NVC? Here’s a definition from Robin’s soon to be published ‘Dynamic Teaching and Facilitation’ Book. Nonviolent Communication: A life practice and set of principles and skills that enable compassionate communication, empathy, authenticity and connection. It helps people have ‘power with’ rather than ‘power over’ and to express their feelings, needs and deep truth with others, with themselves and in groups and organisations. See Kate’s Website here

COVID Safe, Face to Face ‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ Training

It’s time for Robin’s annual Creative Facilitation and Teacher Training course at her home community of Crystal Waters. Last year’s ‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ training saw three people turn around in transit to the course as the threat of COVID started to lock down the whole country. Robin with Donna, the fantastic cook for the course, had done all the shopping for the catering and the remaining nine people managed to arrive so a group of 12 people went into a bubble for the week, emerging to a world where even going shopping was a challenge. Everyone enjoyed the course very much and got heaps out of it in terms of skills, knowledge and confidence to take home… and they all got home safely. This year we’ll see one of those people who had to turn around in transit, midflight, to return to the north of WA last year, make …
