Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning

Qld Aust – March 2018

‘DYNAMIC GROUPS, DYNAMIC LEARNING’

Offered as a 6 day intensive educational feast or as a 4 day ‘bones’ version, this training course for teachers, trainers, facilitators and group leaders utilizes and models creative facilitation techniques, interactive learning methods, empowerment tools, dynamic group energy and fun. Participants are empowered to develop their confidence, skills, knowledge and a tool box of processes in an exciting, colourful and supportive environment. Robin facilitates these courses all over Australia and internationally by invitation and occasionally organises one in her home community of Crystal Waters.

This practical, hands-on course is most suited to

Teachers and trainers

Facilitators, group and workshop leaders

Community development and Community service workers

Activists, earthworkers and social change agents

Therapists and healers wanting to pass on their skills

Anyone interested in group work and how we learn

An adventure in Creative Facilitation, this course is for people who are willing to look past the expert/dominant/hierarchical process called teaching to a more interactive, participatory process of encouraging learning. There will be an emphasis on how we can create environments in which people learn effectively, rather than what facts they should be made to remember.

4 DAY ‘Bones’ Version for special interest groups

Robin sometimes facilitates, by invitation, a 4 day version of this course for specific groups, industries or networks. Since 2007 these were undertaken for

the NON-VIOLENT COMMUNICATION NETWORK  (NVC) to help support people fluent in NVC to deliver introductory trainings in schools and Community.

the MARY VALLY Region for people and groups (especially community workers and group leaders) who may be affected by a dam flooding their valley, organised by Lifeline Kandanga

the MEN’S MOVEMENT, sponsored by MEN’S WELLBEING Inc for men wanting more skills, confidence and connection with group work and training

the TRANSITION TOWNS Movement, one organised at Lake McDonald by TRANSITION SUNSHINE COAST and one for TRANSITION BEGA at the Tathra Surf Club.

Testimonials

Robin was brilliant, her thorough understanding of group processes and accelerated learning gave me the experience and confidence to support other men that I never thought would have been possible.”

Peter, Dynamic Groups Training for Men ’08

“Robin is what I call a ‘people shiner’ and now she’s empowered us to become our own ‘people shiners’.  The course facilitation was inspiring, exciting, authentic and full of love ‘n’ soul.”

Sue from Tathra

“Robin embodies her work. She has been collecting ideas and processes for a long time, and knows what works.  When she links these ideas and processes in her facilitation, she creates new and  very alive connections withing people to their own ideas and dreams, and between people – sharing becomes a  long lost gift.”

Jacinta Foale – Music Teacher
