Creative Community Governance and Decision Making

I’m excited to have offered this one day workshop in Port Kembla on 1st August for a variety of different community groups ranging from Community Gardens and School Gardens groups to the Men’s group and TAFE students. The following day 30 people from more than a dozen community organisations gathered for the same workshop in Sydney. The new resource, which I used to facilitate the workshop, will now be developed into a kit for Community Groups as a result of ongoing interest. Let me know if you’d like more info as I’m open to offering this course in other areas for groups and individuals interested in this important social change work.

‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ Course 19th to 22nd October

Hosted by the amazing World View Centre and facilitated by Robin Clayfield, this 4 day intensive is offered specially for people involved in ‘The Joining’, Men’s Work, Women’s Work, Rites of Passage Leaders and anyone who feels connected to empowerment and deep inner work and wants to upskill their facilitation, training and presentation skills. Accommodation on site is an option and recommended if you’d like to relax away from traffic and take in more of the stunning views of the Sunshine Coast from ‘Worldview’.

‘Dynamic Groups’ Course in May 2010

Penny Pyett and Permaculture North Sydney hosted Robin Clayfield from the 17th to 23rd May. She was the guest speaker, presenting ‘Wealthy Communities’ and ‘Business Is Not A Dirty Word’ at Permaculture North Sydney’s monthly meeting on the 17th and again for Permaculture South Sydney the following night. Robin then offered a four day ‘bones’ version of her ‘Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning’ Course. This intensive training was offered especially for Permaculture and Transition Towns folks from across Sydney and the Central Coast and was a wonderful success with 14 people attending.
