The annual Being Woman… gathering is fast approaching with a juicy theme this year –  Nurturing Your True Nature…..Stepping into our Woman’s Way and the workshops will be centred around this theme. This year’s gathering again offers a wonderful range of facilitators and workshops for you to discover and explore the divine feminine source inside you in a way that enhances your self-awareness, relationships and life purpose. There will also be sacred ceremonies to open and close the gathering as well as entertainment on Saturday and Sunday nights. Be true and authentic to who you are and learn to keep your heart open as you celebrate, dance, weave, relax and enjoy the gathering. Robin’s workshop this year will be called – Pathway to Freedom. She’ll also be involved in the Ceremony team again with our Aunties and other wonderful wise women. Tickets are available here.

‘Groundwork’ has been developed out of the Art of Hosting framework (aka Art of Participatory Leadership), and specifically focusses on collaboration. These trainings are being offered in both Brisbane and Canberra in February. These trainings would be fantastic support to Permaculture trainers and organisers, for Permaculture Co-Lab, and any permie projects as well as NVC practitioners and anyone working with community groups and facilitation. Early bird closes today Fri 11 January. There are some scholarships, and discounts for 3 or more people coming as a group or from an organisation. Fees are negotiable for people who really want to come and learn to apply these trainings, but who cant afford to pay. Visit the website here.

Robin’s decision this year to run her annual ‘Dynamic Groups’ training at Crystal Waters EcoVillage much earlier in the year turned out to be a popular choice with participants. In light of this the course for 2019 will be in February from 17th to 22nd. It promises to be a great course and there are still a few places so best to jump in and confirm before the ‘Silly Season’ arrives.  

Both Robin and her partner Rob attended the annual Joining Gathering in September. Robin facilitated a powerful and transformative workshop entitled ‘Supporting Each Other to Shine’         and was able to contribute in a much lesser way than usual in the Ceremonies having mentored and guided other younger people to lead the Ceremonies, and lead they did so brilliantly. Both Robin and Rob were on the panel discussion about ‘Relationship’. A highlight of the event was Rob and Robin stepping up together in the Closing Ceremony to hold the energy of Staff and Basket holder for the next gathering. This means they care for the sacred objects that symbolize the Masculine and Feminine and together with a big circle of other wonderful people, organize the next ‘Joining’ for 2019 on the Spring Equinox weekend, held over 3 days. By Erin Young People wanting to up-skill in supporting their groups and human relationships to thrive are invited to join Robin Clayfield and I as we combine forces to offer a weekend of Social Permaculture exploration for this coming November at Crystal Waters Ecovillage. Dates are 10th and 11th November. It is an exciting time of growing momentum for Social Permaculture around the world, so this is sure to be a special and potent weekend workshop to attend.
